Update on Our New Customer

Acando were asked to assist Dragon LNG with analysing and providing recommendations on their inherited Documentum records management system.

Dragon LNG’s new import, storage and regasification terminal is situated on the shores of the Milford Haven Waterway in Pembrokeshire, South West Wales, alongside the only Coastal National Park in the UK. The ‘Haven’ waterway is one of the deepest natural harbours in the world with over 22 miles of navigable waterway attracting both commercial and leisure vessels. As a key energy provider for the UK, Dragon LNG is proud to be part of Pembrokeshire, a Welsh County with a vibrant history and promising future.

The consultancy work was conducted by Andre Kopnick.

Dragon LNG inherited their Documentum system from the BG Group and the system was predominantly used as a viewing repository for the technical engineering documents such as AutoCad. The task was to educate the Document Control team on ‘out of the box’ functionality which they can use to make their enterprise-wide system regulated and compliant. Additional work will hopefully come from this client to continue to ensure that the system meets the expectations of the business.
